We enjoyed welcoming friends to the Barbican Centre for the launch of Collective Wisdom on Wednesday 18 September. We hosted over 100 of the cultural and creative industries’ best and brightest for a discussion about the future of cultural communications.
Following founder Truda Spruyt introducing the Collective Wisdom team, Miranda Sawyer chaired a panel of the Bookseller’s Philip Jones, Samta Nadeem from StirWorld, and Isobel Farmiloe of Dazed Magazine for a fascinating conversation that touched on young and emerging audiences, how to adapt in an ever-evolving industry, and trends in the cultural media landscape. One conclusion we arrived at: the in-person and real are ever more important in an increasingly online life. We heard some diverse and compelling insights about what lies ahead for the creative sector over drinks – a perfect example of how collaboration always leads to solution.
We would like to thank our efficient and professional hosts the Barbican Centre, panellists Miranda, Philip, Samta and Isobel, and above all everyone who took the time to attend.
